Hot soup method

Hi everyone!! Today I will show the method of the hot soup I showed the ingredients in the last post

method:

  • Peel the garlic and deseed the chillies, then roughly chop and place into a pestle and mortar. Bash with a pinch of salt to a rough paste. Peel, finely chop and add the ginger, then bash until broken down and combined.
  • Finely slice the mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Heat a lug of oil in a large wok or heavy-based saucepan over a medium-high heat, add the mushrooms and fry for 4 minutes, or until lightly golden. Stir in the chilli paste and bamboo shoots and fry for a further minute. 
  • Meanwhile, mix together 3 tablespoons of soy, 4 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar, the honey and a good pinch of white pepper. Stir the mixture into the pan and cook for a minute, then pour in the hot stock and bring gently to the boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, or until slightly reduced. Meanwhile, chop the tofu into 1cm cubes, finely slice the spring onions and chives and whisk the egg well.
  • Once reduced, remove the soup from the heat. Using a chopstick, stir the soup in a clockwise direction until you get a little whirlpool, then slowly add the beaten egg, stirring continuously to form thin ribbons. Stir in the tofu and return to the heat for 1 minute to warm through. Season to taste with soy and vinegar, then serve immediately with the spring onions and chives scattered on top.

    • Ingredients 
    • 2 cloves of garlic 
    • 1-2 fresh red chillies
    • sea salt
    • freshly ground white pepper
    • 1 thumb-sized piece of ginger
    • 250 g shitake mushrooms , cleaned 
    • 225 g bamboo shoots , drained 
    • groundnut oil , or vegetable oil 
    • low-salt soy sauce
    • rice wine vinegar
    • 1 teaspoon runny honey
    • 1.5 litres hot organic vegetable stock 
    • 150 g firm tofu
    • 2 spring onions
    • ½ bunch of chives
    • 1 large free-range egg
    • These are ingredients I will show the method tomorrow 


    Vegan chocolate chip cookies

     Hi and we're making vegan chocolate chip cookies but today I made a post but I thought to make more so let's start by ingredients

    Ingredients

    1. 2 cups ( 470 ml ) flour

    2. 1 teaspoon ( 5 ml ) salt

    3. 1 teaspoon ( 5 ml ) baking soda

    4. 1 cup ( 240 ml ) margarine

    5. 3/4 cup ( 180 ml ) brown sugar

    6. 3/4 cup ( 180 ml ) vegan  sugar

    7.  1 teaspoon ( 5 ml ) vanilla extract ( essence )

    8. Egg replacer equivalent of 2 eggs ( Ener-G-egg replacer works best,bit you can also mix together 2 tsp. Corn starch and 1/4 cup water )

    9. 12 ounces ( 330 g ) semi-sweet chocolate chips

    Method:

    1. Oil your cooking sheet preheat the oven to 350 Fahrenheit ( 180 degree Celsius )

    2. Mix together the flour salt and baking soda.

    3. Cream together the margarine,brown sugar,sugar,vanilla and egg replacer

    4. Stir the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and mix until the ingredients are well combined.

    5. Add the chocolate chips and mix

    6. Spoon the dough into the cookie sheet

    7. Cool the vegan chocolate chip cookies

    8. Serve them or put them in a cookie jar

    Chewy chocolate chip cookies

    Hi! We're making chewy chocolate chip cookies.YESTERDAY I made them too but these ones r chewy.So if u tried the yesterday ones be sure to try these ones too. I'm pretty sure the yesterday ones worked if u guys tried. So let's get going.


    Ingredients

    Servings:Approximately 5 dozen medium sized cookies

    1. 2 cups white sugar

    2. 2 cups brown sugar

    3. A pinch pinch salt

    4. 4 eggs

    5. 2 cups ( 4 sticks ) of butter ( softened ) 

    6. 6 cups of self rising flour ( adapt this for Elevation and humidity as needed,make sure the cups are level.

    7. 2 tsp of vanilla 

    8. 1/4 cup milk

    9. 4 cups of chocolate chips

    Method:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit/180 degree Celsius 

    2. Add the vanilla,sugar,brown sugar,eggs and butter

    3. Add the flour salt and baking soda 

    4. Mix until fully blended Add the milk

    5. Apply cooking spray to the pan 

    6. Roll a small ball for each cookie

    7. Place the cookie balls on the baking pan

    8. Flatten each cookie with a fork

    9. Bake cookies for 8-10 min until light golden brown 

    10. Take the cookies out of the oven and let them sit

    11. Store in a airtight container,eat and share with family

    hi! it has been a long time since I never made a post.i was just so buzy doing other stuff but today I'm free and yea so lets get going.

     ingredients:


    1. 2 1/4 cups (530 ml ) flour

    2. 1 teaspoon ( 5 ml ) salt

    3. 1 teaspoon (5 ml ) baking soda

    4. 1 cup (  240 ml ) butter , softened but not melted ( 2 standard American sticks/250 grams)

    5. 3/4 cup ( 180 ml) packed brown sugar ( 165 grams )

    6. 3/4 cups ( 180 ml ) granulated sugar ( 150 g )

    7. 2 large eggs

    8. 1 teaspoon ( 5 ml ) vanilla extract

    9. 5 to 7 cups of chocolate chips ( 168 to 338 grams )

    method:
    1.preheat the oven to 375 degree Fahrenheit /190 degree celcius

    2.in a , medium bowl...combine flour,salt & baking soda.Gently mix them together.Then set it aside.

    3. In a large bowl, Beat the butter and sugars together, then beat in eggs and vanilla extract.

    4. combine the dry and wet ingredients. Then add the chocolate  chips.Do not over stir the dough.

    5. Spoon the dough into a pre-greased or lined baking sheet.

    6. Bake for about 10 min until golden brown around edges

    7. Let cool for about 5-7 min

    8. go ahead and eat!

    so hi guys its me and im going to tell you how to make chicken fried steak exactly how my mum make

    ingredients:

    STEAK AND BATTER
    4 beef cube steaks
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon black pepper
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2 cups buttermilk
    1 egg
    1 table spoon hot pepper sauce

    COUNTRY GRAVY
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    4 cups milk
    kosher salt and black pepper


    method 1
    preparation
    Begin by pre-heating a skillet on medium-high with enough oil to cover the bottom of the skillet.



    Tenderize your cube steaks a little (optional). Using a cooking mallet, lightly hammer each steak until it begins to tenderize and grows by roughly half.


    Create four (4) stations. Make space for one cutting board to season the meat, one bowl with flour, one bowl with the beaten egg mixture, and a resting surface, like a bowl or plate.
    To make the egg mixture, mix together all the dry ingredients first in a medium bowl — the baking powder, baking soda, pepper, and salt. To the dry ingredients, add the buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce to create a kind of slurry.



    Season the steaks on each side and dredge. To dredge, put a steak through flour, then soak in the egg mixture, then the flour again and put on resting surface. Do this for all the steaks. Let them rest for 10-15 minutes.
    When covering the steaks with flour for the second time, make sure they are evenly patted down and completely coated. For a fully-developed crust, make sure to pat down the steaks several times in the flour.

    Frying the Steaks and Making the Gravy

    When the oil is shimmering, put the steaks in and fry them for 3-5 minutes on each side. Steaks are done when they are golden brown on both sides. Note that thinner steaks will require less time than thicker steaks. Put them in a warm oven for the following steps.

    Create a roux by mixing equal parts butter and flour. Make sure you start the roux off at a low-enough temperature so that the flour doesn't burn.

    Gradually add milk, salt and pepper to the roux, whisking frequently. Whisk until the mixture can coat the back of a spoon, about 4 to 7 minutes. Now you have gravy!
    Finished! Serve with mashed potatoes and veggies, or any other combination you desire.

    3. Combine flour, cocoa and bicarbonate soda. Add to creamed mixture with milk. Beat until just combined.
    4. To make the chocolate butter cream:
    5. Beat butter until light and fluffy. Add icing sugar and cocoa and combine well. Beat in milk until mixture is fluffy.
    6. Spoon mixture into liners until each case is one-third full. Bake for 15-20 min

    1.preheat the oven to 180c (fan 160c,gas mark 4).grease and line three 8 circular cake tins.

    2.Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    4.sift in the flour and baking powder and fold in.

    5.in a separate small bowl mix together the cocoa powder and boiling water to a paste then add to the mixture,stirring to combine.
      
    6. once fully combined,carefully pour into the 3 prepared tins in equal measures.

    7.bake the sponges in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until skewer comes out clean when inserted ithe centre of the cake.

    8.once baked,leave the sponges to cool on a wire rack.

    9.once fully cooled,carefully cut out a large circle from the centre of 2 of the sponges using a pastry cutter,these will become the bottom and middle sponges.

    10. place the bottom base on a cake board or cake stand that you want to present your cake on(it will be difficult to move once filled).

    11.beat together the icing sugar,cocoa powder and butter to make your buttercream(you may need to add a splash of milk to loosen up).

    12.spread a thin layer of butter cream on the bottom layer of your cake(not covering the hole)and place the second layer on top.

    13.fill the hole in the centre with your chocolate sweets.

    14.spread a thin layer of butter cream on the top of the sponge and place the remaining sponge layer without the hole on top to seal in the sweets.

    15.with the remaining buttercream spread generously on the outside of the cake(or pipe if preferred).

    16.decorate the chocolate sprinkles and serve.
